How to Use Templates

Instructions and Tips on Using Templates to Streamline Your Product Photography

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Access the Templates Section

  • Log in to your Studio Nula account and navigate to the Preferences tab.

Create a Template

  • Click Create Template to upload images for reference.

Upload Your Reference Images

  • Name your template and assign category

Customize Your Template

  • Add styling preferences.

  • Define specific angles, lighting setups, and framing.

  • Indicate if the shot should be counted as a deliverable.

What is a Deliverable?

A deliverable is the final image we will edit and send to you as part of your completed project.

If you add a photo for reference only (for example, to show lighting, styling, or angle), but you do not want that exact photo included in your final set, make sure to uncheck “Count as deliverable.”

This way, we know which images are for inspiration and which ones should be part of your official final delivery.

Save for Future Shoots

  • Your template will be stored under Your Templates, ready to apply to any upcoming project.

Apply to a Shoot

  • When booking a new project, simply select your saved template — your photographer will follow the exact guidelines.

This is how your shot list is going to look like after selecting your template.

💡 Pro Tip:

Create different templates for different product lines or seasonal campaigns — this keeps each line consistent while allowing room for creativity.

By using Studio Nula’s Templates feature, you not only save valuable time but also ensure your brand visuals remain professional and consistent. It’s the easiest way to scale your product photography without sacrificing quality.
